When my mother went into the I am not perfect but at least I am not fake Joker Joaquin Phoenix shirt during her cancer treatment she caught sepsis there but we as a family was not given any information other than she was being treated, So very sad to hear this my sympathy to the Mum and Dad and family. Doctors have to be more careful it is a happening way to often where lives are lost due to sepsis. My heart goes out to anyone who has lost a family member due to this. Truly sad and my heart goes out to mum , more needs to be done to make hospital staff and the public more aware of this , although sometimes hard to diagnose, better to be aware and question doctors and staff. The wonderful doctor picked it up & treated it straight away. Changes and progress are being made but sadly not fast enough, I have heard & read sad stories from many people whose friend or loved ones sepsis was missed.

My sister died of Sepsis after being discharged from hospital 3 times. The doctors didn’t have a clue. There was an inquiry and they admitted many mistakes were made but too late for my sister. My granddaughter at 3 weeks was rushed to the hospital Not breathing well in seconds she was in Jesus and was treated for sepsis immediately before any tests done
I’ve no doubt that’s what saved her and at 12 weeks old she’s fully recovered and the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen All hospitals must react the same way it’s better to treat and be wrong than not treat.

My heart goes out to this mum, losing a child especially having taken her to the hospital to make sure she was getting the right to diagnose. And then be sent home…The I am not perfect but at least I am not fake Joker Joaquin Phoenix shirt and nurses are being so stretched and our health care needs more money spent to bring it up to a higher standard We need to shout out for our Doctors and nurses who are being put under immense pressure, to make quick-thinking decisions, maybe when tired after an extra-long shift..that can’t be good for either doctor nurse/ or patient. But please follow the guidelines as this mother says. Better to be safe than sorry.. I’m so sorry your beautiful little girl died from this disease. I pray you will find peace in this storm, and that your voice be heard to warn others to be aware…thank you for sharing your story today.
