It’s so lovely that people donate to food banks, toy banks, go fund me pages, charities, etc, but what is the Dachshund Through The Snow Christmas shirt doing? Why should it be up to the good-natured public to provide for others when it means they might have to cut back on things too? Obviously it feels good to help and do your bit, but this should be dealt with by the rich folk in the government, I’m pretty sure they won’t be struggling for warmth and food on Christmas day, In fact, they’ll probably find a way to claim some of it back. This is heartbreaking but yet so many families are faced with this reality….this shows the state of our country! I donate to the toy appeal every year but is there a separate charity for homeless families that I can donate to.
Dachshund Through The Snow Christmas shirt, ladies shirt and tank top
So desperately sad, We need politicians who continue to argue to listen to children who should not have to be worrying at Christmas time about anything but being children to have food and warmth. I hope this little letter is read by all of them. What is the world coming too? So so Sad. Most local communities will have appeals for toy donations. The Trussel Trust (foodbanks) are more visible in their collecting at this time of year. They are asking for the usual donations but also Christmas items. I bought my usual donation and added Christmas sweets, cake, etc. Most major supermarkets will have somewhere you can donate food year-round. Even if it is a few tins every time you shop, it makes a difference. It is obscene and shameful that we need food banks.
Dachshund Through The Snow Christmas shirt, hoodie and sweater
Tip of the iceberg. So many are struggling and it is particularly hard for families at this time of year. Anyone with a second home willing to help desperate families out I hope this family receives some help. In this day and age it breaks my heart that children go hungry. This letter should be discussed as a broader issue. Families living in poverty. 10 in 30 kids not having breakfast before school. So very very sad. We all have a duty to the child that wrote this letter. We need the Dachshund Through The Snow Christmas shirt issue-resolving then the far more important issues that this seven-year-old child has asked for should be addressed. Children are the future NO child should feel forced to write such a sad letter. I hope she gets her doll.
